It has been 20 years to the month since my two favourite TV shows first aired. Back in 1994, both Friends and ER debuted in September, only 3 days apart (though not in Australia). I was 10. This is kind of crazy. I still watch them both repeatedly to this day. I don’t think there is a day that goes by that I am not reminded of a Friends quote in some way or another.
“You set the tone, Carter.” RIP Dr. Mark Greene.

ditto. all of it.

There are predictions this will be the last season of XFactor… Seriously, why do I always jump on a sinking ship with regards to TV shows?

Filed under TV Shows The X Factor This is my life When this show was over promoted last year I totally misjudged it and I REALLY (surprisingly) enjoy the spectacle of it! Just radom thoughts I have Seriously I think I should make a career of rooting for the underdog. Also it is ironic that the show with the most spectacle is actually televisions underdog

How Orange is the New Black became Netflix’s best series.
"Was it the fact that the series is extremely female-dominated? Aside from four or five male characters, nearly every player on Black is female. And of those few male characters, all of them, save one, are douchebags. For television fans, it’s a welcome change, one that only a ballsy outfit like Netflix would have the marbles to broadcast."

TV that rewards its most faithful and attentive viewers usually has a lot more dynamism and integrity than the kind of blandly accessible-to-all programming that imploringly throws itself at the Nielsen equivalent of the undecided voter.
